The movie "Avatar", in a paragraph

With characters so one-dimensional they might as well be cardboard cutouts, and a story so predictable you foresee every event from a mile away, this movie doesn't really have anything going for it beyond the breathtaking, mezmorizing, intoxicating, heart-stirring, spine-tingling visuals that salvage this movie from being a fantasy land footnote. Grade: C+
