One of the most interesting locations to hang around while in Monte Carlo, is the Casino. It's luxurious, world famous and pretty much the kind of Casino you can see James Bond hang out in.

Unfortunately, I was not allowed inside.

I did take some nice snaps and videos of my walk over to the Casino from the apartment.

I sat in the Cafe adjacent to the Casino and got a menu. Picked out a huge dessert called "Dolce Vita". 20 Euros. It's an insane price for a cocaine-free dessert, but how often am I in the French Riviera? Splurge, goddamnit!

Anyway, This is how it looked like.

After that, I kept on walking around, taking snaps here and there. One of the snaps was of the most famous hotel in Monte Carlo, Hotel-De-Paris. It's a five-star extravaganza of a hotel. Pricey as hell. All I could afford was to take a picture of the outside. It does look pretty at night, doesn't it?

That's the thing about Monte Carlo. Wherever you go, opulence is right in your face.

As I walked around, I remembered there's one thing I have to see that I haven't yet - Yachts! A must-have for any self respecting Monaco rich guy.

So I went down to the marina, and took a video of some of the most beautiful private yachts in the world.

A few more shots of those mind blowing, ultra luxurious yachts:

And another shot of a luxury cruise ship in the morning:

I left the apartment late morning, heading out to the train station that would take me back to Turin, Italy. Had some coffee first and some Asian pork dish I bought in the small Asian restaurant the night before, right after I visited the yachts.

Despite my best wishes, I did not get a chance to visit the Japanese garden. I simply wasn't there enough time for that. Oh well, I can always come back, and at some point - Probably will!

And so my magical 24-hour visit to Monte Carlo was concluded. I wish I had more time, but it was still a blast.

I finally got on the train from Monaco Gare (Monte Carlo train station) back to Turin.

More on that in Part 6. Stay tuned.
